JONES SURVEY, <br />A-482 FROM RESIDENTIAL TO 'C" APARTMENT AND COMMERCIAL - <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Kibodeaux opened the joint public hearing <br />and asked if there was anyone present desiring to speak <br />for the proposed rezoning? <br />A. MR. MELVIN LEWIS - PRESIDENT OF CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, <br />Business address, 1019 So. Broadway, Residence, 10923 <br />Oasis, Houston, Texas - was recognized and address the <br />Commission on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, stating <br />that the Executive Board endorsed the rezoning for the <br />proposed project. <br />B. MR. JOHN KIIBLER, JR. - CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXECUTIVE <br />• <br />BOARD MEMBER AND ATTORNEY - was recognized and addressed <br />the Commission. Mr. Kiibler stated that the Chamber of <br />Commerce was working on census information and from the <br />data being compiled there was a need and would 'continue <br />to be a need for multi-family residences.
