CONSIDER APPROVING PAY ESTIMATE NO. 1 - BORING & TUNNELING <br />COMPANY OF AMERICA, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,301.57 <br />WATER MAIN BETWEEN WATER WELL NO. 5 AND 16TH STREET - <br />Motion by Commissioner Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner <br />Love to approve Pay Estimate No. 1 to Boring & Tunneling <br />Company of America, Inc., in the amount of $43,301.57 for <br />Water Main between Water Well No. 5 and 16th Street. A <br />copy of the pay estimate is attached and made a part of <br />these minutes. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />4 <br />11. CONSIDER APPROVING PAY ESTIMATE NO. 8 - SMITH ENGINEERING <br />COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,685.00 - ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS <br />TO THE LIBRARY - Motion by Commissioner Love, <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux to approve Pay Estimate <br />Engineering Company in the amount of $7,685.00 <br />and alterations to the Library. A copy of the <br />is attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />by the following vote: <br />seconded by <br />No. 8 to Smith <br />for additions <br />pay estimate <br />Motion carried <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />12. CORRESPONDENCE - A. LETTER - LA PORTE-BAYSHORE CHAMBER OF <br />COMMERCE - A letter was read from the Chamber of Commerce <br />expressing thanks to the City for its support of the Sylvan <br />Beach Activities on April 30 and May 1. <br />B. NOTICE OF HEARING - SOUTHWESTERN BELL - A notice of hearing <br />before t e Texas Public Utility Commission to be held June 7, <br />1976, at 9:00 A.M., Austin, Texas. <br />C. PROGRESS REPORT - TURNER, COLLIE & BRADEN, INC. - A <br />letter of progress regarding the relocation of utility facilities <br />on the Spencer Highway Grade Separation was read. <br />
