'I <br />i <br />Pi <br />is <br />U <br />Regular Meeting 10/4/76 <br />5 <br />13. CONSIDER APPROVING PAY ESTIMATE - SANITARY SEWER - LA PORTE <br />MUNICIPAL AIRPORT - R. T. BISHOP CONSTRUCTION COMPANY - IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $13,947.59 - Motion by Commissioner Kibodeaux, <br />seconded by Commissioner Love to approve the Pay Estimate to <br />R. T. Bishop Construction Company in the amount of $13,947.59 <br />for Sanitary Sewer at the La Porte Municipal Airport. A copy <br />of the Pay Estimate is attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />14. CORRESPONDENCE - (A) A letter from Sampson Realtors offering <br />Block 896 for sale to the City for a possible location for the <br />new City Hall was read. <br />(B)A letter from Kennith Baird was read, objecting to being <br />billed for mowing his property. <br />15. CONSIDER AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO SEND LETTERS TO COMPANIES FOR <br />THE RELOCATION OF FACILITIES FOR THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC SPENCER <br />HIGHWAY GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT - Motion by Commissioner Love, <br />seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to authorize the Mayor to <br />send letters dated October 4, 1976, for the relocation of <br />facilities for the Southern Pacific Spencer Highway Grade <br />Separation Project, to the following companies: Houston <br />Pipeline Company, AMOCO Pipeline Company and Seadrift Pipeline; <br />Copies of said letters are attached and made a part of these <br />minutes; and the Mayor be further authorized to send letters <br />dated October 4, 1976, for the relocation of facilities for <br />the Southern Pacific Spencer Highway Grade Separation Project, <br />authorizing expenditures for the following companies: <br />COMPANY ESTIMATED COSTS <br />Mobil Oil Corporation $ 11,772.00 <br />Channel Industries Gas 34,965.00 <br />EXXON Pipeline Company 10,462.00 <br />Houston Lighting & Power Co. 19,500.00 <br />A copy of said letters to each company is attached. <br />
