DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - <br />92-500 GRANT PROJECT - Mayor Meza stated that the City had <br />been moved from position 36 to 78 for funding for the 92-500 <br />Sewer Grant. A public hearing will be held in Austin on <br />June 23, 1977. Members of the Chamber of Commerce, Realtors, <br />Industry and citizens plan to go to the hearing to testify on <br />behalf of the City's needs. <br />COMMISSIONER TOMERLIN requested an executive session. <br />REQUEST OF BAY MUD - Mr. Broussard informed the Commission <br />of a meeting with a Mr. Morse of Bay Mud, who had made two <br />verbal requests of the City: (1.) That the City run a water <br />line under Spur 501 from the east side to the west side at <br />Mc Cabe Road for emergency water only, as soon as possible. <br />(2.) Would like an agreement which would include their cost <br />to process sewer through our sewer plant. <br />Mr. Broussard requested an executive session. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT - Dave Corbin stated that his office had <br />• been requested to attend a meeting at the Chamber of Commerce <br />on Tuesday, June 14, 1977, at 1:15 P.M., to discuss the <br />P.L. 92-500 Sewer Grant Hearing. <br />20. EXECUTIVE SESSION - V.A.T.S. - ARTICLE 6252-17 - SECTION 2 - <br />(E) AND (G) - LITIGATION AND PERSONNEL) - Motion by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Simons that the meeting recess <br />for an executive session. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None.` <br />The meeting recessed at 8:25 P.M. <br />The meeting reconvened at 9:44 P.M. <br />i� <br />U <br />
