CONSIDER APPROVING PROPOSED ORDINANCE N0. 1157 - ORDINANCE <br />VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF THE ALLEY IN <br />BLOCK 185, TOWN OF LA FORTE - H. BARYON HILL - It was <br />determined that all the necessary paper work had been <br />completed; the check in-the amount of $1,630.20 for the <br />easement value had been received. <br />After the proposed. ordinance was read in full, motion by <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Tomerlin <br />to approve Ordinance No. 1157 as read. Motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A <br />PORTION OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE (185), <br />IN THE TOWN OF LA FORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. (Situated <br />between Lots Six to Thirteen, inclusive on the west side, <br />and Lots Fourteen to Twenty-One, inclusive, on the east side. <br />• + + + <br />8. CONSIDER APPROVING PROPOSED ORDINANCE N0. 115$ - ORDINANCE <br />VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 13, BAY <br />FRONT ADDITION - BRYAN BERTRAM - It was determined that all <br />the paper work had been completed, but the check for the <br />easement value in the amount of $813.23 had not been received. <br />Motion by Commissioner Tomerlin, seconded by Commissioner <br />Cline that this item be tabled. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />9. RATIFY AUTHORIZING ADVERTISING AND ACCEPTING BIDS ON BOND <br />PROJECTS TO BE RECEIVED AT 7:00 P.M., ON JUNE 27:, 1979 - <br />Motion by Commissioner Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner <br />Simons to ratify authorizing advertising and accepting bids <br />• for a 16" Water Main on Spencer Highway from Water Well No. 5 <br />to Valley Brook Drive.
