~ ~ <br />• Regular Meeting, November 19, 1980, Page 4 <br />Public Works Director Hodge reported on his plan for the <br />delivery of garbage bags this next year. <br />Chief Inspector Paulissen reported on the progress being <br />made on the demolition of dangerous buildings. <br />Public Works Director Hodge introduced Mr. Rick Wagner, <br />the new water superintendent for the City of La Porte. <br />Hodge also reviewed the upcoming Emergency Planning Seminar <br />and invited the Council to take part. <br />10. Council Action <br />Councilman Kibodeaux reported on the Texas Municipal League <br />Conference in Dallas, November 8 through the 11th. He <br />enjoyed the individual sessions. <br />Councilwoman Cline reported she had enjoyed the busy few <br />days even though she had not gotten to participate with the <br />others from La Porte, as she would have liked to, since she <br />was obligated to so many affairs as a Board Member. <br />Councilman Simons reported there was much to learn and do <br />• at TML and he had a very enjoyable trip. <br />11. At the request of City Manager Hudgens, the Council ad- <br />journed into executive session at 8:37 P.M. to discuss <br />contractural matters involving land. <br />Council returned to the Council table at 9:27 P.M. There <br />being no further business to be brought before Council, <br />Mayor Meza entertained a motion to adjourn. <br />12. Motion was made by Councilman Kibodeaux to adjourn the <br />meeting at 9:30 P.M. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Tomerlin.
