• <br />ORDINANCE N0. ,'~-~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING ABANDONING AND CLOSING ALL OF THE <br />ALLEY IN BLOCK ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE (173), IN THE TOWN <br />OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. <br />WHEREAS, the said alley in Block One Hundred Seventy-Three <br />(173), in the Town of La Porte, has never been opened or used <br />as a public thoroughfare, and the public utilities now making <br />use of such alley have all given their written consent for <br />its closing; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Porte has <br />determined and does hereby find, determine and declare that <br />the said alley is not suitable, needed, or beneficial to the <br />public as a public alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and <br />permanently closed; <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LA PORTE: <br />Section 1. The alley located in Block One Hundred Seventy- <br />Three (173) in the Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, is <br />hereby permanently vacated, abandoned and closed by ,the City <br />of La Porte. <br />Section 2.
