The STATE shall furnish the MUNICIPALITIES (with juris- <br />diction over streets and roads not on the State Highway System as shown <br />in EXHIBIT L), appropriate plans which shall be .approved by signature <br />upon these-plans by the duly authorized official representing the <br />MUNICIPALITY, prior to any work done at the site of the project.. <br />c. The STATE shall make reimbursement to the RAILROAD for all <br />approved work performed, as specified under paragraph 6, "PAYMENTS." <br />:The STATE will be reimbursed from Federal funds for these projects; <br />therefore, the RAILROAD hereby agrees to abide by directives established <br />under the following: <br />(1) Federal Highway Administration, Federal Highway <br />Program Manual (FHPM), Volume 1, Chapter 4, <br />Section 3. (Reimbursement) <br />(2) Federal Highway Administration, Federal Highway <br />Program Manual (FHPM), Volume 6, Chapter 6, <br />Section 2, Subsection 1. (Railroad-Highway Projects) <br />• (3) Federal Highway 'Administration, Federal Highway <br />Program Manual (FHPM), Volume 6, Chapter 6, <br />Section 2, Subsection 2. (Insurance) <br />(4) .Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. <br />(5) State Department of Highways and Public Trans- <br />portation current policies and practice on sub- <br />mission of plans, estimates and billings. <br />and any supplements thereto or revisions thereof, which, by reference <br />hereto, are made a part hereof. . <br />5. CONSTRUCTION. The STATE agrees to furnish such construction <br />stakes and elevations as are required for the installation. The R11IL- <br />ROAD shall commence the installation of the .individual projects within <br />two weeks after receipt of WORK ORDER from the STATE for such individual <br />projects, and shall proceed diligently to completion of the installation. <br />Materials and labor required for the installation of the warning systems <br />are to be furnished by the RAILROAD. Materials are to be of the kind <br />and quality detailed in the EXHIBIT B. Assembly of materials should be <br />undertaken sufficiently in advance to assure prompt delivery to the job <br />• site.
