City Manager Hudgens pointed out to Council that Harris County has been more than generous in giving the fill material for the Service Center to the City. 16. Administrative Reports: Dave Corbin made a visual presentation to the Council on the progress being made on the water line installations along Barbour's Cut Boulevard and the east side of town. Corbin said the project is well underway and should be completed shortly after the first of the year ('81) . Hudgens asked for a brief executive session to discuss a legal matter. 17. Council Action: Councilman Kibodeaux asked about progress on water well #2 in Fairmont Park? Hodge informed him the screen being placed inside the damaged screen is being set and the work is going well. Councilman Kibodeaux wished everyone a "Merry Christmas." . Councilwoman Cline asked if the City needed a Resolution con- cerning the Fairmont Parkway Construction Project? Mayor Meza brought those not present at the meeting with Commissioner Fonteno up to date on the completion of Fairmont Parkway. Council directed Hudgens to have the needed Resolution pre- pared and mailed. Councilman Simons commended Stan Sherwood for the beautiful Christmas decorations around City Hall. The Council agreed it is a job well done. Councilman Simons wished everyone a "Merry Christmas." Mayor Meza adjourned the Council into executive session at 8:20 P.M. Council reconvened at 8:35 P.M. Motion was made by Councilman Simons to purchase light blue Blazers for the entire Council and the Mayor with the City logo on the pocket. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kibodeaux.
