Seconded by Councilperson Tomerlin. The <br />motion carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, Simons <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />8. Council considered a utility extension for Royce M. Jones, <br />extension of a water main. The agreement was in order and <br />adequate funds had been paid by Jones to cover cost of extension. <br />Motion was made by Kibodeaux to approve the utility extension <br />agreement for Royce M. Jones. Seconded by Councilperson Simons. <br />The motion carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, Simons <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />9. Council considered a utility extension agreement for sewer for <br />Force Corporation. Council was advised everything is in order. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Simons to approve a utility <br />extension agreement for sewer for Force Corporation. Seconded <br />by Councilperson Tomerlin. The motion carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, Simons <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />10. Council considered the preliminary plat submitted by John <br />Sheffield of his "Woods on the Bay" project. Hudgens advised <br />Council that City department heads have found the plat to now <br />be in compliance with the exception of the dedication on the <br />plat discussed with City Attorney Askins. We would like to <br />review some being done in other areas on condominiums. The <br />staff recommends the plat be approved and the wording on the <br />dedication be worked out prior to the approval and acceptance <br />of the final plat. <br /> <br />Mayor Meza requested the minutes reflect this plat is to be <br />approved subject to legal work to be done prior to approval of <br />the final plat. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the preliminary plat for "Woods on the Bay" <br />subject to the proper and approved legal dedication wording <br />for the final plat was made by Councilperson Simons. Seconded <br />by Councilperson Kibodeaux. The motion carried, 4 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, Simons <br />None <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />11. Mayor Meza asked Chairperson Muston for Planning and Zoning to <br />present the Commission's recommendation. <br /> <br />Muston: Mr. Mayor, our recommendation is that the site only <br />as shown on the architect's site plans be rezoned to commercial. <br />
