Administrative Reports: <br />City Manager Hudgens submitted Change Order No. Two (2) on <br />the City of La Porte 12" water main extension (Lomax Water <br />Bond Project). The Change Order consisted of four (4) clamps, <br />two (2) fire hydrants and two (2) cubic yards of concrete, <br />resulting in a net increase of $368.00 to the project total. <br />Hudgens advised the project ran under the budgeted amount and <br />asked that the project be finaled at a price including this <br />Change Order of $226,951.20. <br />Motion was made b Councilperson Faris to ap rove final pay- <br />ment including Change Order 2 of 226,951.20 for the City <br />of La Porte 12" Water Main Extension (Project No. 1287-80). <br />Seconded by Councilperson Malone. The motion carried, 8 ayes <br />and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Faris, Simons, Gay, <br />Skelton, Westergren, Mayor Meza <br />Nays: None <br />13. Council Action: <br />• Councilperson Longley asked for continued effort be put forth <br />to have the County put a crossover at Wilmont and Fairmont <br />Parkway. <br />Councilperson Faris requested a short executive session to <br />discuss a legal matter. <br />Councilperson Skelton stated he had received numerous complaints <br />on the sewer rehabilitation contractor between "G" and "H" <br />Street on Virginia. <br />Mayor Meza presented Resolution 817 supporting House Bill <br />2364 prohibiting the incineration of polychlorinated biplenyls <br />(PCB' S) . <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Simons to adopt Resolution 81-7 <br />as read. Seconded by Councilperson Skelton. The motion carried, <br />8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Faris, Simons, Gay, <br />Skelton, Westergren, Mayor Meza <br />Nays: None <br />Mayor Meza declared Council would adjourn into Executive Ses- <br />sion to discuss a contractural matter at 8:16 P.M. <br />• Council returned to the Council table at 9:38 P.M. <br />
