<br />14. Council considered a Resolution designating permanent office
<br />assignments for Mayor and Council. Motion was made by Council-
<br />person Skelton to accept and approve Resolution. No. 81-10 as
<br />read. Seconded by Councilperson Gay. The motion carried,
<br />9 ayes and 0 nays.
<br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Faris, Kibodeaux, Simons,
<br />Gay, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Meza

<br />15. Council considered Resolution No. 81-11 concerning communica-
<br />tions equipment held by Council members and .future policy.
<br />A motion was made by Councilperson Simons to approve and adopt
<br />Resolution No. 81-11 as read. Seconded by Councilperson Faris.
<br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays.

<br />16. Council considered Resolution No. 81-12 finding that the City
<br />of La Porte Public Works Building is not a building "Used by
<br />.the Public." Motion was made by Councilperson Longley to
<br />accept and approve Resolution No. 81-12 as read. Seconded by
<br />Councilperson Faris. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays.

<br />17. Council reviewed Change Order No. 1 for Contract II - Gravity
<br />Sanitary Sewer Main, EPA Project No. C-481176-03-0, E. P. Brady,
<br />Inc., of a net increase of $7,168.50. This increase results
<br />in a current tract price of $1,027,278.00. Nature of the
<br />change: construction of a larger siphon 110 feet in length
<br />in the location of the proposed rerouting of Little Cedar Bayou
<br />and construction of 60 feet of 36-inch diameter ductile iron
<br />pipe in the existing location of Little Cedar Bayou. Motion
<br />was made by Councilperson Kibodeaux to approve Change Order
<br />No. One - E.P. Brady, Inc.. Seconded by Councilperson Simons.
<br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays.

<br />18. Council considered Change Order No. 5, Contractor Lee Rowe
<br />Construction Company for the Public Works Service Center, for
<br />the installation of storm sewer which was erroneously not
<br />included in the original bid; payment is at the cost of
<br />$6,199.00. Motion was made by Councilperson Faris to approve
<br />Change Order No. 5. Seconded by Councilperson Longley. The
<br />motion carried, 8 ayes and 1 nay.
