<br />Longley: I would like to thank Judge Lindsay for taking time
<br />out of his busy schedule to come down to perform this service
<br />for us. I'd also like to say that I have discovered how far
<br />it is from that bench out there to this chair. As I start my
<br />second year on the Council, it is with a lot of optimism and
<br />I am anxious to pursue a positive course that will make our
<br />City a better place to live. I want to thank the many, many
<br />people who worked very hard in my campaign. My special thanks
<br />to my campaign manager, Jane Without her
<br />untiring work, all this would not have been possible.
