Council considered the recommendation from Public Works Director Jerry Hodge <br />concerning the lease of a new Gradall Model G3W Hydraulic Excavator from <br />Hi-Way Equipment Company in the amount of five thousand four hundred dollars <br />($5,400.00) per month for four months. <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to approve the recommendation <br />from Hodge concerning rental of new Gradall. Second by Councilperson <br />Matuszak. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, Graves, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren, <br />Malone and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />• <br />12. Council considered amending Ordinance 705, Subsection 11.05, "Street Lighting" <br />Section 11, "Engineering and Construction Standards for Subdivisions." A <br />motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to table this ordinance for some <br />revisions to be presented at the next Council meeting. Second by Council- <br />person Malone. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, <br />Malone and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />13. Consent Agenda: <br />Graves, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren, <br />A. Council considered awarding the bid for the Multi-Purpose Center bus <br />air conditioner to Van-Air, Inc., 12211 Waters Park Road, Austin, Texas, <br />in the amount of $11,414.00. <br />B. Council considered awarding the bid for a new booster pump, motor, and <br />check valves for Water Well #4 to Pump, Power and Equipment Company in <br />the amount of $5,564.00. <br />C. Council considered the appointment of Special Counsel, Sears and Burns, <br />as hearing examiner for the City of La Porte to hear and report back to <br />City Council on all protests under 40 CFR 35.939 to the completion of <br />the sanitary sewer rehabilitation project. Resolution No. 82-15 <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Westergren to approve items A, B and C <br />of the Consent Agenda. Seconded by Councilperson Matuszak.
