City Attorney Askins read: ORDINANCE 1364 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25, ARTICLE V, SECTION 25-81 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE BY ADDING TO THE CURRENT DESIGNATED TRUCK ROUTES WITHIN THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TWO ADDI- TIONAL TRUCK ROUTES; PROVIDING THAT ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND SHALL UPON CONVICTION BE FINED NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00); CONTAINING SEVERABILITY AND REPEALING CLAUSES; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Council Action: Council erson Lon le Reported he had been getting complaints about bui ing restrictions as they pertain to encroachments on .easements from residents in Fairmont Park, and proposed that this be put on a workshop for discussion to see if the ordinance needs to be changed.
