Chadwick for a Beer and Wine Retailer's Permit at 2199 Underwood Road (Sweet Pea's Ice House). Council considered authorizing an engineering contract with Turner, Collie & Braden, Tnc., 5757 Woodway, Houston, Texas, to prepare the La Porte Area Water Authority Water Supply Study. Councilperson Malone expressed his displeasure con^ cerning the travel charge of 35 cents per mile for vehicles owned or leased by the Engineer. A motion was made by Councilperson Malone to approve Alternate 4 to install inlets on each. side of the existina,.payement. install 18" storm sewer on the west side of the stxeet from t e inlets to North L Street, remove and reset the 24 inch culverts under West Coupland Drive at North L Street; re rq ade the ditch from East Coupland Drive to Bia Island Slough and overlay low areas of gutter line with hot mix asphaltic con- crete, but to put into effect alternate 4 only from the west curve in the horseshoe-shaped street and proceedina east then north to North L Street.
