No one responded. <br />Mayor Cline asked that anyone wishing to speak in opposition <br />to the ordinance to come forward. There were none. <br />Councilperson Gay arrived at the Council table at 7:30 P.M. <br />Councilperson Gay spoke in opposition to the ordinance. <br />Councilpersons Longley and Matuszak spoke in favor of the <br />ordinance. <br />"Special Use Permits" and the granting thereof were discussed. <br />Mayor Cline read the .recommendation from Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, which was to pass the ordinance. <br />Motion was made b Councilperson Matuszak to a prove and ado t <br />Ordinance 780- Second by Councilperson Ma one. <br />Motion was made b .Council erson Westergren to table this <br />ordinance for further study. Second y Counci person P eiffer. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Graves, <br />Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren and. Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />The ordinance was placed on the May 11, 1983, workshop agenda. <br />7. Paul Felgner spoke to Council requesting that Collingswood <br />Road not be opened and presented a petition to Council from <br />residents on Collingswood in support. <br />After discussion by Council and comments by Eddie Gray, the <br />developer of Fairmont Park East, Section II, it was .recommended <br />that this item be placed on the April 27, 1983, workshop agenda, <br />and have the Fire Chief, Police Chief and Graduate Engineer <br />present. Interested residents were also invited to attend the <br />workshop. <br />8. Council considered election of a Mayor Pro-Tem. <br />Councilperson Pfeiffer moved to meet in executive session on <br />this matter. Second y Councilperson Ma one. T e motion car- <br />ried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />
