No one responded. Mayor Cline asked that anyone wishing to speak in opposition to the ordinance to come forward. There were none. Councilperson Gay arrived at the Council table at 7:30 P.M. Councilperson Gay spoke in opposition to the ordinance. Councilpersons Longley and Matuszak spoke in favor of the ordinance. "Special Use Permits" and the granting thereof were discussed. Mayor Cline read the .recommendation from Planning and Zoning Commission, which was to pass the ordinance. Motion was made b Councilperson Matuszak to a prove and ado t Ordinance 780- Second by Councilperson Ma one. Motion was made b .Council erson Westergren to table this ordinance for further study. Second y Counci person P eiffer. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Graves, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren and. Mayor Cline Nays: None The ordinance was placed on the May 11, 1983, workshop agenda. 7. Paul Felgner spoke to Council requesting that Collingswood Road not be opened and presented a petition to Council from residents on Collingswood in support. After discussion by Council and comments by Eddie Gray, the developer of Fairmont Park East, Section II, it was .recommended that this item be placed on the April 27, 1983, workshop agenda, and have the Fire Chief, Police Chief and Graduate Engineer present. Interested residents were also invited to attend the workshop. 8. Council considered election of a Mayor Pro-Tem. Councilperson Pfeiffer moved to meet in executive session on this matter.
