City Council <br />August 24, 1983,- Page 2 <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to approve and adopt <br />Ordinance 83-15 as read by the City Attorney. Second by <br />Councilperson Matuszak. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Malone, <br />Longley, Matuszak and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />6. Council considered awarding an annual contract for PVC pipe, <br />fittings, gate valves and fire hydrants. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak, second by Council- <br />person Longley, to accept staff's recommendation and award the <br />bid for PVC pipe to Rohan Com an in the amount of 6, 72; <br />PVC fittings to Utility Supply in the amount o ,66 .55; <br />cast iron fittings to Utilit Su ly in the amount of <br />$17,305.75; gate valves to Utili~ Supp y in the amount of <br />$12,059.59; fire hydrants to Utility Supply in the amount <br />of $22,336.10; and dr granular chlorine to Golden Triangle <br />in the amount of T.06 per pound. The motion carried, 7 ayes <br />and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Malone, <br />Longley, Matuszak and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />7. Council considered awarding a bid for flexible base. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak to award the bid <br />for flexible base (crushed limestone) to Parker Brothers in <br />the amount of $11.52 per ton delivered and $8.85 per ton picked <br />u~. Second by Councilperson Malone. The motion carried, 7 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Malone, <br />Longley, Matuszak and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />8. Council considered awarding a contract to prepare the Airport <br />Master Plan. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to award the contract <br />for the Airport Master Plan to Coffman Associates, subject to <br />grant approval by FAA, not to exceed 36,600. Second by <br />Councilperson Pfeiffer. <br />• Ayes: Councilpersons Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Malone, <br />Longley, Matuszak and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />
