The motion carried., 6 ayes and O nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Longley,, Graves, Pfeiffer, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />10. Council considered setting a date. for public hearing on the <br />rezoning request of Decker McKim to rezone La Porte Outlots <br />18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 from residential to commercial. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Pfeiffer to .set February 15 <br />as the date for ublic hearing on the rezonin of Outlots 18, <br />19, 20, 21 and 22 from residential to commercia Second by <br />Councilperson Skelton. The motion carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />• <br />Ayes;: Councilpersons Longley, Graves, Pfeiffer, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />11. Administrative Reports: <br />Mr. Owen reported that the traffic signal at Myrtle Creek and <br />Spencer Highway will be put into service as soon as the deli- <br />very and installation of the controlling device is completed. <br />This should be within the next two weeks. <br />Mr. Owen reminded Council of the Special Called Meeting to be <br />held at 5:00 P.M. on January. l9 to approve the bond notice of <br />sale on the bonds .College View will issue. <br />12. Council Action: <br />Longley: Thanked-staff and Public Works for finally getting <br />started on demolishing the old sewer plant in Fairmont Park. <br />It's a welcome relief and he appreciates it very much and <br />knows the residents are pleased also. <br />Graves: Requested a short executive session on a personnel <br />matter . <br />r: <br />Pfeiffer: Requested staff to review all policies.. regarding <br />streets, water and sewer extensions, etc., and come back to <br />Council with written policies so there will not be any problems <br />in the future. <br />
