It is his feelings that the City should hold <br />off until the Comprehensive Master Plan has been finalized <br />and presented to the Mayor and Council. <br />Mayor Cline read memos from Chief Building Official David <br />Paulissen and Graduate Engineer John Joerns stating that <br />they. concur and request that this rezoning be tabled for <br />further study. <br />Mayor•Cline also stated that she had received a letter <br />to be entered into the minutes from Mr. Dennis Skarda <br />also opposing this rezoning. Item number 7 will be next, then 6. <br />6. Council considered approving audit done by Eugene Hovey, CPA. <br />The City of La Porte Financial Report was explained by Mr. <br />Hovey. Mr. Hovey detailed the report and stated that the <br />only small problem was with the Area Ambulance Corp. This <br />was noted and these problems have now been corrected. The <br />Certificate of Conformance is again being requested from <br />the State. <br />Jack Owen also thanked Mr. Hovey at this time for the extra <br />help he and his staff put in on getting the material ready for <br />the February 1 Bond Sale trip to New York. <br />Mayor requested a motion to accept the audit for the fiscal <br />year 1982-1983. Public notice will be published that a <br />• copy of this audit will be on file at City Hall. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to approve the <br />- 3 Financial Audit as presented.
