FELSCHER TO THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF ANDY <br />WILSON, AS CITY OF LA PORTE HEARING OFFICER FOR THE JUDIK <br />VEHICLE ORDINANCE; CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE; FINDING <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LA1r1; AND PROVIDING Atd <br />EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />141y as read by the City Attornev. Second by Councilperson <br />Matuszak. The motion carried, g ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Bridges, Matuszak, Waters, Pfeiffer, <br />Gay, Skelton, ?~estergren, Malone and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />9. Council considered entering into an interlocal agreement with <br />the cities of Baytown and Seabrook for the purchase of garbage <br />bags. <br />Motion was_made b~ Councilperson Skelton_tosnter into an <br />• interlocal a reement with the cities o~Baytown and Seabrook <br />for the purchase of garbage bags. Second by Councilperson <br />Pfeiffer. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Bridges, Matuszak, Waters, Pfeiffer, <br />Gay, Skelton, Westergren, Malone and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />10. Council considered awarding a bid for garbage bags. <br />Jackson Ray, Purchasing Agent, gave a presentation on the bids <br />and briefly addressed the interlocal agreements and their <br />effect on the price of the garbage bags. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Malone to award the bid for <br />garbage bays to the low_bidder,~ Adams Industries, at a price <br />of .399 cents Der pound. Second by Councilperson Gay. The <br />motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Bridges, Matuszak, Waters, Pfeiffer, <br />Gay, Skelton, Westergren, Malone and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />• <br />
