<br />• Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />January 21, 1985, Page 4 <br />Malone: Inquired about procedure when a private citizen wants <br />to put a culvert in front of his house and across his lot. <br />Mr. Owen replied that there was a moratorium in effect at the <br />present time. Mr. Malone asked if a person desiring to put <br />culvert but leave open spaces in between, should go to the <br />Engineering Department and talk with them. Mr. Owen replied <br />in the affirmative. <br />Discussion by Council followed and the consensus was that <br />staff should look at lifting the moratorium. <br />Cline: Announced that she would be making a trip to Austin <br />next Tuesday with the Chamber of Commerce group for a meeting <br />with the Highway Commission to discuss the bridge to replace <br />the La Porte-Baytown Tunnel. <br />9. Executive Session <br />Council adjourned into executive session to discuss Ambulance <br />Service personnel (V.A.T.S. - Article 6252-17, Section 2(G)), <br />• at 6:35 P.M. The meeting was reconvened at 7:45 P.M. <br />10.
