Consider awarding a b~.d for hand held meter reading <br />devices <br />B. Consider awarding a bid for motor fuel <br />C. Consider awarding a bid for bulk oil and automobile <br />supplies <br />Motion was made by Cou ci person Waters to approve the consent <br />agenda as presented. Second by Councilperson Walker. The <br />motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Walker, Lloyd, Waters, Pfeiffer, <br />Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />9. Council considered setting a date for a public hearing to <br />allow a duplex in an R-2 zone. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson 6~latg,~s fiat the ub is <br />• hea~~.g be set for August 12. Second by Councilperson <br />Pfeiffer. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Walker, Lloyd, Waters, Pfeiffer, <br />Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />10. Administrative Reports: City Manager Owen requested that <br />Monday, July 15, be a workshop on the bond program. <br />11. Council Action: Councilpersons Walker, Lloyd and Westergren <br />brought items to Council's attention. <br />Mayor Malone reported a challenge from the City,of Baytown for <br />a baseball game to be held at 10 A.M. on July 27. Council <br />accepted the challenge. <br />12. There was no executive session. <br />13. There being no further business to come before the Council, <br />the meeting was duly adjourned at 6:30 P.M. <br />• <br /> <br />
