Second by Councilperson <br />Matuszak. The motion carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, Porter, Gay, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />10. Council considered a resolution authorizing acquisition of <br />land for the golf course. <br />The City Attorney read: RESOLUTION 86-27 - A RESOLUTION <br />FINDING THE PUBLIC NECESSITY FOR THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY OF <br />THE CITY OF LA PORTS TO ACQUIRE SAID PROPERTY BY NEGOTIATION <br />WITH THE OWNERS THEREOF, OR BY PROCEEDINGS IN EMINENT DOMAIN. <br />Motion was made by Counciloerson Matuszak to aoorove <br />Resolution 86-27 as read by the Citv Attornev. Second by <br />Councilperson Porter. The motion carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, Porter, Gay, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />11. Council considered approving a contract with Hazelwood <br />Enterprises, Inc., for solid waste disposal and authorize the <br />City Manager to execute same. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to anbrove the <br />contract with Hazelwood Enterprises for solid waste disposal <br />and to authorize the City Manager to execute the contract. <br />Second by Councilperson Matuszak. The motion carried, 6 ayes <br />and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, Porter, Gay, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />
