e e Ordinance No. 1495, Page 2. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. Under and by virtue of the power granted to the City of La Porte under its Horne Rule Charter and Chap. 13, Title 28, Art. 1175, of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, 1925, the hereinafter described portion of Montana street is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned, and closed by the City of La Porte, to-wit: That portion of Montana Street being an eighty (80') foot right-of-way. Beginning at a point in line of "J" Street (Now way): said point being Block 1112: the South right-of-way known as Fairmont Park- the Northeast corner of Thence South, along West right-of-way line of Montana Street. A distance of 216 feet to a point for a corner: said point being Southeast corner of Lot 14, Block 1112: Thence East, a distance of 80 feet to the East right-of-way line of Montana Street to a point for a corner: said point being Southwest cor- ner of Lot 29, Block 1113: Thence North, along East right-of-way line of Montana Street, a distance of 216 feet to the South right-of-way line of "J" Street for a corner: said point being Northwest corner Block 1113: Thence West, along South right-of-way line of "J II Street a distance of 80 feet. to the point of beginning. section 2. The City Council officially finds, determines, recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was posted at a place convenient to the public at the ci ty Hall of the City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated: and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof
