Cindy Remick addressed the City Council thanking <br />everyone for their efforts and hard work in relation to <br />the proposed incinerator by HCS. <br /> <br />15. Workshop Items: <br /> <br />Council discussed the workshop item reviewing the proposed <br />animal ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson <br />the Council Agenda for September <br />Second by Counc ilperson Porter. <br />and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Waters to put this item on <br />14, 1987 for consideration. <br />The motion carried 8 ayes <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone. <br />None. <br /> <br />16. Administrative Reports: <br /> <br />Mr. Herrera made a presentation to the City Council on a <br />project entitled "Getting to Know Your Neighbor" being <br />sponsored by the Bayport Industrial District. Several <br />representatives from the Bayport Industrial District have <br />requested to meet with the City Council. They would like to <br />plan this meeting for sometime in mid-September at the <br />Houston Yacht Club. <br /> <br />Mr. Herrera also addressed Council on the tunnel for cart <br />paths at the Municipal Golf Course. John Joerns and Joel <br />Albrecht have met with the State Highway Department and came <br />back with a proposal saving the City approximately $16,000. <br /> <br />17. Council Action: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, <br />Porter, Shipp, Skel ton, Clarke and Mayor Malone expressed <br />appreciation to staff for the job they have done on the <br />budget and the town meeting. <br /> <br />18. Council recessed into Executive Session at 7:45 P.M. and <br />returned to the Council table at 8:34 P.M. after discussing <br />the following items: <br />
