DOMESTIC LIVESTOCK: Domestic livestock (cattle, horses, hogs, sheep, goats, chick~ns, and geese) area permitted accessory use on lots in excess of 43,560 square feet, provided that all domestic livestock as defined above be restrained no closer than 25 feet from property that is not devoted to the keeping of domestic livestock, and provided further that said domestic livestock be kept in a concentration that is less than or equal to: (a) Two (2) cows per acre (b) Two (2) horses per acre (c) Two (2) hogs per acre (d) Two (2) sheep or goats per acre In any event the total for the above referenced grazing animals (i.e. sheep, goats, hogs, cows, or horses) shall be cumulative. In the event of fowl, no specific concentration is established herein, but in no event shall the cumulative concentration of fowl be such as to create a health hazard. The requirements of City of La Porte Ordinance No. 1358 shall apply in any event. . The reqciirements of Ordinance No. 1358 referenced in the above section 'refer to health and sanitation requirements. As noted earlier, this tract is located on the north side of N. "P" St. It is bordered by existing pastures on the east and north. The western property line abutts the Bayou Glen subdivision. There is however, a large drainage ditch between the subdivision and the main body of Mr. Knox's property. Mr. Knox's intention is to fence the eastern side of the ditch line. This will leave a setback well in excess of 25 ft. between the subdivision and all pasture area. Finally, based on the approximately 12 acres involved, Section 10-302(10) will allow a maximum of 24 horses to be pastured on this site.
