Council was to consider approving a contract with CRSS <br />Constructors, Inc., for project management professional <br />services. <br /> <br />The City Manager requested that no formal action be taken <br />at this time in order that the contract could be "fine <br />tuned." He then introduced Mr. Don Landry of CRSS, who <br />addressed Council regarding background on the company. <br /> <br />13. Council considered approving a professional services <br />agreement with Klotz Associates for design of Broadway <br />Street improvements. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Counciloerson Skelton to aoorove the <br />orofessional services contract with Klotz Associates in an <br />amount not to exceed $84,500.00. Second by Councilperson <br />Clarke. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Lloyd, Porter, Shipp, Gay, Skelton, <br />Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />14. Council considered approving a name for the municipal golf <br />course. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Counciloerson Shioo to name the golf <br />course "La Porte's Bav Forest Golf Course". Second by <br />Councilperson Lloyd. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Lloyd, Porter, Shipp, Gay, Skelton, <br />Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />15. Administrative Reports: <br /> <br />The City Manager announced that there will be a workshop on <br />November 2 to discuss the animal ordinance, and also at <br />that time a called meeting in order to hold a public <br />hearing on the tax rate and to review the City Manager. <br /> <br />16. Council Action: Councilpersons Skelton and Clarke and <br />Mayor Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br />
