Council considered approval of contract to purchase potable <br />surface water from the La Porte Area Water Authority by the <br />City of Morgan's Point. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Clarke to approve the <br />contract between the La Porte Area Water Authoritv and the <br />Citv of Morgan's Point. Second by Councilperson Lloyd. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />18. Council considered approving additional funds to SWA Group <br />for expenses relating to Little Cedar Bayou Park re-bid for <br />construction. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Skelton to approve the <br />additional expenses to SWA Group for re-bid of <br />construction of Little Cedar Bavou Park. Second by <br />Councilperson Shipp. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />19. Council considered approving an agreement for design <br />contract for the fire training facility. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Lloyd to approve the <br />agreement with Black & Veatch for a design contract for the <br />fire training facilitv in the amount of $76,798. Second by <br />Councilperson Porter.
