<br />r <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />PETITION <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a master plan has been adopted by the City of La Porte to <br />insure a planned development of its natural land resources with <br />quality of life a major goal, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this goal is being and will continue to be accomplished <br />through diligent enforcement of zoning ordinances, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the design of this master plan was placed in effect after <br />careful research and great expense, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the creators of this master plan deemed certain areas <br />restrictive to commercial zoning, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a certain boat storage facility has been constructed at the <br />9800 block of Fairmont Parkway to serve this community under a <br />conditional use permit within a neighborhood commercial zone, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the conditions of this permit have not been adhered to by <br />the operator and this facility is not limited to neighborhood use as <br />described in the La Porte Zoning Ordinance, then <br /> <br />LET ALL MEN KNOW BY THESE PRESENTS <br /> <br />That we, the undersigned residents of Fairmont Park West, do <br />individually and collectively oppose the granting of a conditional <br />use permit currently before the City Council of the City of La Porte, <br />to wit: <br /> <br />conditional use permit request number 88-011 by J.P. Jackson, and <br />Fairmont Park Joint Venture to allow construction of a boat/RV <br />storage facility to be developed in three phases to be located <br />on a 2.0279 acre tract of the W.M.
