Box 1115 <br />La Porte, Texas 77571 <br /> RE: Petition of Houston Lighting & <br /> Power Company for a Final <br /> Reconciliation of Fuel Costs <br /> Through September 30, 1988 <br />Dear Mayor Malone: <br /> In accordance with the Public Utility Commission's ( "PUCT" or <br />"Commission") Rules of Practice and Procedure, Houston Lighting & Power <br />Company ("HL&P" or the "Company") is hereby providing notice to the City <br />of La Porte that HL&P has petitioned the Commission to approve a final <br />reconciliation of Company fuel costs through the period ending September <br />30, 1988. A copy of the Petition is attached to this letter to further <br />explain the basis for HL&P's requested reconciliation.
