There were seven (7) vendor proposals received and <br />analyzed in response to the City's "Request For Proposal For Microcomputer Systems and Accessories". The <br />vendors analyzed were: Computer Station, ComputerCraft, IBM, Compuplace Computer Services, <br />Computer City, Sooner Office Systems and Deer Pazk Computers. Analysis of the vendor proposals were <br />based on the following criteria (provided in the RFP): <br />• Ability of the hazdwaze and softwaze to meet the requirements of the City <br />• Financial stability of vendor <br />• Availability of maintenance service in the area <br />• Cost of hardwaze, software, service and support <br />• Comprehensiveness of response <br />• Availability of hardware and softwaze <br />• Number of successful sunilaz installations <br />• Training and education to be provided <br />• Willingness to negotiate a contract <br />The_worksteps performed in the analysis included: a review of each item proposed, the development of a <br />price matrix, the performance of vendor reference checks, and a review of vendor fmancial statements. <br />Using the criteria described above, three (3) vendors were selected as "fmalists". The vendors selected were: <br />Computer City, Sooner Office Systems and Deer Park Computers. Each of these vendors aze "full-service" <br />vendors and provided comprehensive, price competitive proposals. Additional worksteps were performed to <br />further analyze the vendor finalists. These worksteps were; the performance of additional reference checks, <br />a review of the vendor's location (i.e. sales, service, and training facilities), personal interview(s), and a <br />preliminary contract negotiation meeting. <br />740 E.
