'T'here was <br />none. Council then prioritized the proposals rece:i.ved from <br />Council, as follows: (1) purchase raw land f_or senior. <br />citizen center; (2) funds to expand the S.P.O.R.T. center; ('1) <br />a handicap-equipped vehicle for use at the present senic.+r. <br />citizens center and the S.P.O.R.T. center; and (A) renovation <br />of street curbs and wheelchair ramps on Main Street. <br />Council made a policy decision to put the puhl.ic addt•e~t:r: <br />system and piano for the Jennie Riley Community Center ~+~ <br />budget items for FY1990-91. <br />9. Council considered approving Special Conditional lJse Perm.itis <br />for Rizzuto Elementary, Bayshore Elementary and Lomax <br />Elementary. <br />Motion was made by Counciluerson Skelton to ~ll,>Prove tl~c~ <br />Special Conditional Use Permits. Second by Conncilper.so+~ <br />McLaughlin. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, Mc.~Laughl a ii, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Cl~irke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />At this time, Council adjourned into executive session at 7 : ut3 <br />P.M. to discuss the following items: (1) Meet with special. <br />counsel regarding Southern Ionics, Inc./Houston Chemical. <br />Services, Inc.; (2) Meet with attorney regarding) Elizabett+ <br />Lane right-of-way acquisition; and (3) Continue annual revic~~r <br />of City Manager. Council returned to the table al. '7:50 P.M., <br />having discussed the first two items. <br />10.
