Second by Councilperson Porter. <br />The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, McLaughlin, Porter, <br />Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />8. Council considered an ordinance governing retention and <br />disposition of public city records. <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 1675 - AN ORDINANCE <br />GOVERNING RETENTION AND DISPOSITION OF PUBLIC CITY RECORDS; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE MICROPHOTOGRAPHY, DESTRUCTION AND OTHER <br />DISPOSITION OF PUBLIC RECORDS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY <br />CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson McLaughlin to adopt Ordinance <br />1675 as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson <br />Waters. Council considered an ordinance approving a pipeline permit <br />for Enterprise Products. <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 915-CC - AN ORDINANCE <br />GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION 18-a-3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 915, <br />"PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, DATED NOVEMBER 25, <br />1975, TO CONSTRUCT A SIX INCH PIPE LINE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION <br />OF BUTANE/PROPANE MIXTURE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />HEREOF. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Waters to adopt Ordinance <br />915-CC as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson <br />Clarke.
