Second by Councilperson Cooper. Council considered awarding a bid for batteries. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Clarke to award the bid for <br />batteries to Exide Battery Sales. Second by Councilperson <br />Cooper. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, McLaughlin, Porter, <br />Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />12. Council considered awarding a bid for a humane truck. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to award the bid for <br />a humane truck to Les Marks Chevrolet. Second by <br />Councilperson Cooper. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, McLaughlin, Porter, <br />Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />13. Administrative Reports: City Manager Bob Herrera announced <br />a Council retreat to be held February 23, 24 and 25, 1990. <br />14. Council Action: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone brought items to <br />Council's attention. <br />15. Council adjourned into executive session at 6:45 P.M. to <br />discuss the following: (A) Legal - Meet with attorney <br />regarding Southern Ionics, Inc./Houston Chemical Services, <br />Inc.; (B) Legal - Meet with attorney to discuss BayMUD mobile <br />home litigation. Council returned to the table at 8:04 P.M. <br />
