Council considered a consent agenda, as follows: (A) Consider <br />awarding a bid for water and sewer supplies; (B) Consider <br />awarding a bid for trailer mounted sewer cleaner. <br /> <br />Motion was made bY Councilperson Cooper to approve the consent <br />agenda as presented. Second by Councilperson Waters. The <br />motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, MCLaughlin, <br />Porter, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />27. Administrative Reports <br /> <br />Jeff Litchfield presented a report on the utility Billing <br />Software System, and gave the time table for its <br />implementation. <br /> <br />City Manager Bob Herrera announced there would be a workshop <br />on the proposed smoking ordinance on March 13, and asked if <br />Council also wished to have another workshop on this item on <br />March 19. Council indicated that they wished a workshop on <br />both March 13 and March 19. <br /> <br />28. Council Action: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone brought <br />items to Council's attention. <br /> <br />Councilperson Skelton requested that the agenda item he had <br />tabled regarding the demolition of a building on lots 28-32, <br />block 31, be brought back to the table. <br /> <br />The City Attorney read ORDINANCE 1692, glvlng the legal <br />description as LOTS 28-32, BLOCK 31 and the owner of record <br />as A. J. AND BETTY ROUSE. <br /> <br />Motion was made bY Councilperson Skelton to adopt Ordinance <br />1692 as read bY the city Attorney. Second by Councilperson <br />Porter. The motion carried, 5 ayes and 3 nays. <br />
