Council considered amending FY 1990-91 budget to reflect 1990 <br />open purchase orders. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to approve amending <br />the 1990-91 budget to reflect 1990 open purchase orders as <br />recommended by the Director of Finance. Second by <br />Councilperson Cooper. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />14. Council considered awarding a contract to Insituform Gulf <br />South, as sole source vendor, for rehabilitation of Roseberry <br />truck sewer. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Sutherland to award a <br />contract in the amount of 572.070 to Insituform Gulf South for <br />rehabilitation of Roseberry trunk sewer. Second by <br />Councilperson Cooper. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />15. Council considered awarding a bid for a defibrillator monitor. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson McLaughlin to award the bid <br />for a defibrillator monitor to Physio-Control in the amount <br />of 58.775. Second by Councilperson Skelton. The motion <br />carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />16. Administrative Reports: <br />A. City Manager Herrera reminded Council of the Chamber <br />installation banquet on January 24. <br />B. Mr. Herrera reviewed problems with outgoing and incoming <br />mail that the City is experiencing. <br />C. Announced the grand opening of the South East Texas Water <br />Purification Plant would be held February 1, 1991. <br />
