Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />June 10, 1991, Page 3 <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to adopt Ordinances <br />1659-D and 1659-E as read by the City Attorney. Second by <br />Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />,McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />At this point, Council retired into executive session at 7:05 <br />P.M. under Article 6252-17, Section 2(E) to discuss Dana <br />Transport Contractual Matter with the City Attorney. Council <br />returned to the Council table at 7:35 P.M. and addressed item <br />15. <br />15. Council received a report from the City Manager on water and <br />sewer service to properties in Battleground Industrial <br />District, and considered authorizing the City Manager to give <br />letter of intent to Dana Transport for water and sewer service <br />and Industrial District contract. <br />After the report was given, motion was made by Councilperson <br />Gay to approve authorizing the City Manager to present Dana <br />Transport a letter of intent to supply water and sewer <br />services and to formulate an industrial district contract. <br />Second by Councilperson McLaughlin. The motion carried, 9 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />16. Council considered approving an interlocal agreement with the <br />City of Baytown and the City of Seabrook for purchase of <br />malathion. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Cooper to approve entering <br />into an interlocal agreement with Baytown and Seabrook for the <br />Purchase of malathion.
