The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE NO. 1587-C, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1587, AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING USER FEES AND RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF LA PORTE BAY FOREST GOLF COURSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Motion was made by Councilperson Cooper to adopt Ordinance 1587-C as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson McLaughlin. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, McLauglin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone Nays: None il. Council considered an ordinance amending rates at the Sylvan Beach Pavilion. The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE NO. 1783 - AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A RENTAL FEE POLICY AND SCHEDULE FOR SYLVAN BEACH PAVILION; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Motion was made by Councilperson Clarke to adopt Ordinance 1783 as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone Nays: None 12. Council considered an ordinance declaring that it shall be unlawful for any person to trap, hunt, shoot or attempt to shoot or molest in any manner, any animal; providing that any person violating the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in a sum not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00). Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to table Ordinance 1784. Second by Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays.
