Council considered approving change order for La Porte <br />Recreation Center. <br /> <br />Director of Parks and Recreation Stan Sherwood and City <br />Manager Bob Herrera led the discussion with the Council <br />regarding the change order for the La Porte Recreation <br />Center. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to aoorove chanqe <br />order for $38.404.58 for the La Porte Recreation Center: i.e. <br />La Porte Wellness Center. Second by Councilperson Gay. The <br />motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays <br /> <br />Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke <br />Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Thrower, <br />and Mayor <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />15. Council reviewed Planning and Zoning commission <br />recommendations regarding zoning amendments to Ordinance 1501 <br />and considered setting a Public Hearing date. <br /> <br />ci ty Inspector Mark Lewis led the discussion with Council <br />regarding amendments to Ordinance 1501 as recommended by the <br />La Porte Planning and Zoning commission and a Public Hearing <br />Date. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Counciloerson Skelton to set the Public <br />Hearinq Date of December 9. 1991 to oresent the Planning and <br />Zoninq Commission recommendations for changes to Ordinance <br />1501. Second by Councilperson Thrower. The motion carried, <br />7 ayes and 0 nays. Councilpersons Gay and Clarke were away <br />from the Council table. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />MCLaughlin, Porter, Skelton and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />16. Council considered awarding bid for equipment and authorized <br />expenditure of $66.26 each from motor pool replacement fund <br />for over budget bid on industrial tractors. <br />
