........._. . <br />• <br />Sam Loved Knowles began working for the City of La Porte on <br />September 30, 1981. He was hired as the first ever Warehouse <br />Supervisor and held that position until retirement on January 31, <br />1992. He came to us from the City of Baytown where he held a <br />similar position for about 7 1/2 years. <br />During his stay with the City of La Porte, Sam made many <br />friends and the warehouse will hardly be the same without him. <br />(There have already been complaints about the coffee being too <br />weak) We wish him all the best in his retirement. <br />
