Council considered an ordinance granting a pipe line permit to <br />Air Products Manufacturing Corporation. <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE NO. 915-GG - AN ORDINANCE <br />GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION 18-a-3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 915, <br />"PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, DATED NOVEMBER 25, <br />1975, TO CONSTRUCT AN 8-INCH PIPE LINE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION <br />OF HYDROGEN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Clarke to adopt Ordinance <br />915-GG as read by the City Attornev. Second by Councilperson <br />Thrower. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays <br />(Councilpersons Porter and Gay had not yet arrived). <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />10. Council considered an ordinance establishing rates for use of <br />municipal swimming pools and the hours of operation for the <br />municipal swimming pools. <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 1644-C - AN ORDINANCE <br />ESTABLISHING THE RATES FOR THE USE OF THE MUNICIPAL SWIMMING <br />POOLS AND THE HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THE MUNICIPAL SWIMMING <br />POOLS. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to adopt Ordinance <br />1644-C as read by the City Attornev. Second by Councilperson <br />Thrower.
