Council considered an ordinance approving and authorizing a contract for concessions at Little Cedar Bayou Wave Pool. The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 1854 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LA PORTE AND COUNTRY CLUB CATERING & 19TH HOLE, FOR CONCESSIONS AT LITTLE CEDAR BAYOU WAVE POOL; MAKING VARIOUS FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to adopt Ordinance 1854 as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson Sutherland. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. Council considered a resolution fulfilling response to EPA Administrative Order Docket No. VI-92-0123. Motion was made by Councilperson Porter to approve Resolution 92-06, fulfillinq response to EPA Administrative Order Docket No. VI-92-0123. Second by Councilperson McLaughlin. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and Mayor Malone Nays: None 15. Council considered a consent agenda, as follows: (A) Consider awarding a bid for hydraulic rescue equipment; (B) Consider awarding a bid for street materials; (C) Consider awarding a bid for automated meter reading devices. Motion was made by Councilperson Sutherland to approve the consent agenda as presented. Second by Councilperson Porter. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays.
