The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />Council voted on Councilperson Maxwell's amendment. Motion <br />carried, 8 ayes and 1 nay. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: Councilperson Porter <br />Council voted on the original motion. Motion carried, 7 ayes <br />and 3 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Maxwell and Clarke <br />Nays: Councilperson Porter, Gay and Mayor. Malone <br />11. Consent Agenda - <br />A. Consider awarding a bid for the purchase of nine electric <br />golf cars from E Z Go Textron. <br />B. Consider awarding a bid for the purchase of five inch <br />fire hose. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to accept the consent <br />agenda as presented. Second by Councilperson Clarke. The <br />motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />by students enrolled in an FFA or FHA program in the public <br />schools. Second by Councilperson Thrower. <br />
