Herrera, Assistant City Manager John Joerns, City Attorney Knox ASkins, City Secretary Sue Lenes, Director of Administrative Services Louis Rigby, Planning Director Chuck Harrington, Director of Public Works Steve Gillett, Director Parks and Recreation Buddy Jacobs, Director of Finance Jeff Litchfield, Finance Office Linda Stubbs, Police Chief Bobby Powell, Assistant to the City Secretary Cathy DeArmond, Human Resources Coordinator Kim Meismer and Human Resources Secretary Sandra Kincaid Others Present: Attorney Barry Abrams, Mr. Grant representing Anthony Crane, Representing Highway Transport, Area Manager Mr. Chuck Eiler and Attorney Darrell Thomas, several citizens and students from area schools. 2. The invocation was given by City Attorney Knox Askins 3. Council considered approving minutes of the Public Hearing and Special Called Regular Meeting November 29, 1993. Motion was made bv Councilnerson Maxwell to aunrove the November 29 minutes as nresented. Second by Councilperson McLaughlin. The motion carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays and 1 abstain. (Councilperson Alton Porter was away from council table) Ayes: councilpersons, Cooper, Thrower, McLaughlin, Gay, Maxwell, and Mayor Pro Tem Clarke Nays: None Abstain: Councilperson Sutherland 4. Council considered approving minutes of the Public Hearing November 30, 1993.
