Council considered an ordinance appointing a member to fill <br />the unexpired term of Ronald R. Gragg, District 6, on the La <br />Porte Planning and Zoning Commission to Expire May 30, 1996. <br />City Attorney read: ORDINANCE NO. 94-1966 - AN ORDINANCE <br />APPOINTING A MEMBER TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF RONALD R. <br />GRAGG, DISTRICT 6, ON THE LA PORTE PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION TO EXPIRE MAY 30, 1996; CONTAINING A REPEALING <br />CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Clarke to aDnrove Ordinance <br />94-1966 as read b~ the City Attornev. Consent Agenda - Council considered awarding bids as follows: <br />(A) Consider awarding bid for the replacement of two vehicle <br />lifts to Nobility Equipment Sales; (B) Consider approving the <br />purchase of an ambulance with radio and intercom system to <br />McCoy Miller Ambulance of Houston; (C) Consider awarding bid <br />for the purchase of three vehicles to Joe Camp Ford to be used <br />in the CID division of the Police Department; (D) Consider <br />awarding a bid for an air cooled condensing unit to replace <br />the unit at Sylvan Beach Pavilion to Bay Refrigeration & A/C <br />Company. <br />
