Seconded by councilperson Sutherland. The <br />motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />councilpersons Sutherland, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Maxwell, <br />Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Cooper, Thrower, <br />Clarke and Mayor <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />9. Consent Agenda: - Council considered awarding bids as follows: <br />(A) Consider approving bids for Golf Course Equipment to <br />Watson Distributing Company, Inc., and Goldthwaites of Texas; <br />(B) Consider authorizing the purchase of radios and pagers <br />from HGAC; (C) consider awarding bid for T-shirts and Caps. <br /> <br />Councilperson Sutherland had a question on item (A) regarding <br />how much of the bid is for replacement and how much was for <br />new. Golf Pro Alex Osmond addressed the question. He stated <br />only one item is new. The 4-wheel drive hydraulic rough mower <br />and all other items are replacements. <br /> <br />Motion was made bY Counciloerson Thrower to award all the bids <br />as oresented. Second by councilperson Clarke. The motion <br />carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />councilpersons sutherland, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Maxwell, <br />Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Cooper, Thrower, <br />Clarke and Mayor <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Mayor Malone stated Mr. <br />regarding City business, <br />Administrative Services, <br />administrative reports. <br /> <br />Herrera has been away all <br />and he introduced Director <br />Louis Rigby, who present <br /> <br />day <br />of <br />the <br /> <br />A.) Louis brought to Council's attention the necessity of <br />reappointing the Health Authority. Currently Dr. P. J. <br />Mock is the doctor of record. The ordinance states a set <br />term or until someone is appointed after him. Dr. Mock <br />stated, "He would have no problem being reappointed to <br />this position". It does not have to be accomplished <br />tonight. This report is to let you know this position is <br />up for reappointment by Council and will probably be <br />brought to next Council meeting as a regular action item. <br />Councilperson Sutherland suggested an alternate or <br />assistant be appointed, and this should be someone of Dr. <br />Mock's selection.
