<br />PBX/l'e1ecommunicators of Pasadena-Bay Area is a
<br />non-profit, philanthropic organization with membership
<br />open to te1ecommunicators who answer telephones at
<br />any directory listed business number, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the objectives of PBX/l'e1ecommunicators are to meet and discuss
<br />problems relating to te1ecommunicators; to sponsor phi1anthropic projects jJr the benefit of
<br />humanity; and to promote good will among te1ecommunicators, employers and telephone
<br />companies; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, each year a week is set aside in the 50 states, Canada and Mexico
<br />to recognize the outstanding MOrlc of PBX/l'elecommunicators; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is most fitting and appropriate to commend
<br />PBX/l'e1ecommunicators jJr the outstanding service they have rendered to the pubUc over the
<br />years.

<br />NO\v, THEREFORE, I, NORMAN L MALONE, MAYOR of the City
<br />olLa Porte, do hereby proclaim the week of June 5 through June 11, 1994, as
<br />
<br />PBX/fELECOMMUNlCATORS WEEK.
<br />
<br />in the City of La Porte, and encourage all citizens and civic organizations to recognize the
<br />contributions which the PBX/l'elecommunicators provide.
