Mr. <br />Burns stated, "Whether we liked it or not we received an order <br />from Federal Communications requiring Prime to add Channels 51 <br />and 57 and as Business Manager and General Manager of the <br />Company, it was my decision that CNBC and C-SPAN would be the <br />two channels that we would regrettably have to take off to <br />accommodate this order from the FCC and to comply with the <br />Cable Act of 1992." Mr. Burns indicated Prime Cable is working <br />on an expansion of their channel capacity and by the third <br />quarter of 1995 will increase from the current 40 to 65 <br />channels. At this time C-SPAN and CNBC will be the first two <br />channels added to the cable system. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Thrower to approve Resolution <br />94-09 as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson <br />McLaughlin. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />7. City Manager Robert T. Herrera reminded Council Salute to <br />Industry Banquet honoring Lyondell Polymers is scheduled for <br />Thursday, September 29th, at Sylvan Beach Pavilion. <br />Mr. Herrera called on Director of Planning Chuck Harrington to <br />report on the utility relocation on Underwood Road. The <br />report was regarding the emergency situation on Underwood Road <br />reconstruction Phase III, the section between Fairmont Park <br />11 <br />
