Gillett <br /> <br />Motion was made bv councilperson McLauqhlin to aDprove the <br />Consent Agenda as presented. Second by councilperson <br />Sutherland. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke <br />Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Thrower, <br />and Mayor <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />11. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br /> <br />City Manager Robert T. Herrera reported, "If the Council sees <br />fit, after this Council meeting, the Council should adjourn <br />for about five minutes and then go into a Budget Workshop." <br /> <br />Mayor Malone asked City Attorney Knox Askins to introduce the <br />newest member of his law firm. Mr. Askins introduced Charles <br />R. Huber Jr. and stated, "Mr. Huber, as of August 1st, is with <br />our firm full time and we are very happy to have him with us." <br /> <br />12. COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Councilpersons Cooper, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell and <br />Mayor Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br /> <br />Mayor Malone asked city Manager Robert T. Herrera if there was <br />any thing that could be done to aid the property owner next to <br />the structure located at Crescent & Bay Street, by placing <br />
